{"id":94,"date":"2010-08-18T00:11:29","date_gmt":"2010-08-17T23:11:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.faulder.org.uk\/genealogy\/?p=94"},"modified":"2010-08-23T10:57:18","modified_gmt":"2010-08-23T09:57:18","slug":"the-family-links-with-the-woollen-trade-in-yorkshire-especially-huddersfield","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.faulder.org.uk\/genealogy\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"The family links with the Woollen trade in Yorkshire, especially Huddersfield"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are various members of the family who have been involved in various aspects of the textile industry, most notably with the Woollen Industry in Yorkshire in particular the firm of <a title=\"Reproduction of contemporary document in Acrobat Format\" href=\"..\/..\/ancestry\/Stothart%20&amp;%20Faulder.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Stothart &amp; Faulder <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/..\/utility\/willcreatepdfwindow.gif\" alt=\"open pdf window\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/a> in <a title=\"jpg format image of the building\" href=\"..\/..\/ancestry\/78JohnWilliamStreet%20perspective%20corrected.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">John William Street, Huddersfield<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/..\/utility\/willcreatejpgwindow.gif\" alt=\"open new window\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Various links with textile industries in Cumberland (although most of family was involved in Agriculture).<\/li>\n<li>Both  William Jackson Faulder and Joseph Sewell Faulder were apprenticed as  drapers in Carlisle, the later probably to his future father-in-law, a  draper.<\/li>\n<li>Joseph Story and George Arthur Story (Joseph Sewell Faulder&#8217;s brother-in-law) also worked in the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Joseph Sewell Faulder as partner of John Stothart (neighbour in Huddersfield).<\/li>\n<li>John  Faulder (brother of Joseph) was also involved (initially with his  brother in Yorkshire, later as a Draper in Carlisle).
